IBBA Honors Four Brokers / Intermediaries For Immediate Release December 8, 2008 (Chicago, IL) – The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) is honoring four of its members with its most prestigious awards. IBBA is the largest international non-profit association for people and firms engaged in business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions.
Edwin Kan Hing Lee, CBI, CPA, CFA of Hong Kong Business Intermediary Co. Ltd in Hong Kong, China and Pino Bacinello, CBI of Sunbelt Business Brokers Pacific Inc. in Vancouver, B.C., Canada have been awarded the 2009 Chairman’s Award. The Chairman’s Award recognizes individuals who have significantly helped the IBBA Chair or made outstanding contributions to the association during the Chairman’s term.
Jerry Cofield, Jr., BCI, CBI, M&AMI of Corporate Investment International of North Florida, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida and L. Charles Edmonds, Jr., CBI, MCBC, BCB, CBC, LREB of Charles Edmonds & Associates, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas were awarded the Tom West Award. The award, named after one of the founding members and the first professional manager of IBBA, recognizes Cofield and Edmonds for their continuous efforts to enhance the public image of the business brokering profession.
